Central Market Turns Five. Reflex Challenges, HK$5 Bites, and a Milk Tea Market Follow.

Central Market is celebrating five years since its revitalization with a month-long summer festival. “HIGH5 @ Central Market” runs through August, highlighted by an 8.23-second reflex challenge where players who hit the timer at precisely 8.23 seconds win HK$300 cash vouchers. For every game played, Central Market donates HK$5 to The Salvation Army.

The main celebration lands on August 23 with one-day mega offers. Participating tenants offer half-price deals, HK$5 food items from selected merchants, and birthday perks for August 23 babies who show ID and a same-day purchase receipt.

The “Everything Milk Tea” Market runs August 15 to 26, featuring local milk tea masters including KamCha champions with live demonstrations and a milk tea elementary workshop on August 22 and 23. Suntory’s “The PREMIUM MALT’S HOUSE” pop-up is now open through August 23, recreating a Japanese brewery experience with a tasting bar and weekend tours.

From August 30 to September 10, ELLE Hong Kong and ISSMEN present “Wellness Village,” a 12-day immersive experience across three floors with over 50 brands, 30 workshops, yoga sessions, and a wellness rave party.

Summer spending rewards run through October 4, with e-voucher redemptions and top spenders competing for prizes including a Nintendo Switch 2.
