Food-saving app CHOMP and mission-driven hotel EATON HK are joining forces for a very special edition of The Rescued Feast, a collaborative sustainable dining experience that transforms food surplus and scraps into gourmet meals. This time, the concept lands at Terrible Baby for the first time ever, marking a daytime brunch buffet from 12pm to 3pm on April 26, 2026.

According to the Environmental Protection Department, Hong Kong discards over 3,000 tons of food daily, contributing to the city’s mounting landfill problems. With that in mind, this Earth Day edition aims to raise awareness around this pressing concern and show that food surplus can be given a delicious second life.

Stepping up to the plate is EATON HK’s Executive Chef Alex Lee, a Hong Kong-based chef with over two decades of culinary experience spanning some of the world’s most prestigious kitchens and Michelin-starred restaurants. Chef Lee will have roughly 24 hours to decide the menu and transform donated food items into an inspiring buffet for 200 guests, blending Western techniques with a deep understanding of Chinese cookery.
“We are always striving to reduce food waste as much as possible,” says Chef Lee. “To put that philosophy on show through The Rescued Feast will be a new experience for myself and my team.”
CHOMP founder and CEO Carla Martinesi adds, “This will be our first weekend version of The Rescued Feast and our first event in TST. We hope to reach new audiences and create even greater awareness for our mission.”
Alongside an exciting array of food options, guests can expect lively DJ beats, Terrible Baby’s lineup of eclectic cocktails (with a welcome glass of prosecco or soft drink), and a packed CHOMP tote with gifts and vouchers from friends of the brand.
Tickets to The Rescued Feast are priced at HK $500, inclusive of event entry, full buffet, a glass of prosecco or a soft drink, and a goody bag. Get your tickets now on the CHOMP website while you can.
