A new curry-focused café has landed at YOHO MALL I in Yuen Long. Curry Room, which opened June 8, turns the spice-heavy cuisine into an accessible, build-your-own experience with vegan-friendly bases and prices starting from HK$55.

The menu features four curry bases: Indian Curry overseen by MasterChef India judge Ajay Chopra, Indian Yogurt Curry, Japanese Curry, and Thai Curry. Diners choose a base, then pair it with mains including pan-seared barramundi, slow-cooked beef cheek, karaage chicken, or vegetables, plus sides like French fries, crushed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
For those who want the full experience, the South Asia Curry Specials arrive on a traditional circular thali. The golden platter includes a choice of main — South Indian Curry with lamb or slow-cooked beef cheek, or spicy lentil curry with barramundi — alongside spiced vegetable rice, freshly baked naan, karaage chicken, hummus, pickled cabbage, and a choice of sweet or salty yogurt.

The space leans into minimalist café aesthetics, positioning curry as a casual, everyday option rather than a formal sit-down affair.
