Dairy Queen to Open First Hong Kong Flagship in Causeway Bay This November

The wait is almost over. Dairy Queen, the American ice cream brand with an 85-year legacy, is officially arriving in Hong Kong this November. The first flagship store will open in Causeway Bay, kicking off a rapid citywide expansion with four locations set to launch this quarter — covering Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, and outlying islands.

The brand’s signature Blizzard treat will make its Hong Kong debut, made with Dairy Queen’s exclusive full-fat dairy mix and kept at around 40% air overrun for a thick, rich texture that’s thick enough to hold when the cup is turned upside down.

Beyond the classic Blizzard, Dairy Queen has crafted a fresh store concept tailored for Hong Kong. Five product lines will roll out over time, including cones, milkshakes, parfaits, and ice cream cakes. Fans can customize their treats with mix-ins, creating personalized desserts for everyday celebrations.

The Kwun Tong store is already under hoarding, and more locations are in the pipeline.
