A larger-than-life floral installation is about to take over Central Harbourfront. The “Henderson Land x Cj Hendry Flower Market,” a large-scale immersive artwork by Australian hyperrealist artist Cj Hendry, makes its Asian debut from March 19 to 22 at AIA Vitality Park.
The exhibition features over 150,000 plush flowers arranged across 26 designs, creating a tactile, walk-through environment that blurs the line between sculpture and installation. Visitors are invited to touch, photograph, and interact with the soft blooms—a signature approach for Hendry, whose work often plays with texture and perception.
The Hong Kong edition includes two exclusive commissions created for the occasion. The “Henderson Flower” celebrates the property group’s 50th anniversary, while the “Bauhinia” pays tribute to Hong Kong’s emblem—a design that also informed the organic geometry of The Henderson, the company’s flagship commercial building.
The installation marks the first in a series of cultural events during Hong Kong Art Month and serves as a highlight of Henderson Land’s golden jubilee celebrations.
