Cardinal Point, the highest rooftop bar on Hong Kong island, is back. After a three-year run of packed parties and sky-high soirées, the iconic venue reopens this month with a full-on makeover, and it’s looking better than ever.

The space has been fully redesigned around a palette of dusky amber, peach, and rose light, reflecting the shifting hues of the evening sky. Inside, velvet banquettes, terracotta tiles, walnut veneer and black lacquer channel a subtle Art Deco revival.

The Italian-American menu is built for sharing – think truffle fries (HK$130), chorizo cheese bikinis (HK$150) and mushroom croquettes (HK$160) to start, followed by homemade pastas like squid ink linguine (HK$200) and beef cheek pappardelle (HK$220). Signatures include Reuben sliders on Hawaiian sweet rolls (HK$240), chicken parm (HK$200) and a tostada trio (HK$220). Save room for tiramisu (HK$120) or five-layer chocolate cake (HK$140).

Cocktails lean into the sunset vibe with refreshing spritzes, tropical numbers and high-spirited tipples with gems like the Larry Bird (HK$160), Not So Naughty Root Beer (HK$150) and West Face Killa (HK$150) leading the charge. And with a revamped sound system and year-round DJ residencies, Cardinal Point is officially back on our radar.
