La Baia Brings a Taste of the Mediterranean to Kai Tak Sports Park

A new all-day dining destination has arrived at the Kai Tak Sports Park. La Baia, which translates to “The Bay” in Italian, is now open, offering a vibrant, family-friendly spot inspired by the sun-kissed coasts of the Mediterranean.

Located in the waterfront Dining Cove, the restaurant is designed to be a casual oasis. The interior features curved lines, earthy tones, and natural materials like wood and stone to create a coastal getaway vibe. Expansive windows flood the space with natural light, while an outdoor patio welcomes guests—including their four-legged friends—to enjoy the breezy setting.

The menu focuses on honest, Italian family-style cuisine made from scratch. Highlights include a range of handcrafted pizzas, with dough that undergoes a 24-hour cold fermentation, and freshly made pastas. Standout dishes include the Sea Urchin Aglio Olio Linguine and the slow-braised Oxtail Ravioli. For sharing, the dry-aged Herb Roast Chicken and the fall-off-the-bone Beef Short Ribs are central to the experience.

La Baia also offers great value with its daily happy hour from 12 pm to 6 pm, where drinks are priced at HK$48. A weekday two-course lunch set starts from HK$128, and a flexible à la carte brunch is available on weekends.

Perfect for a casual meal or a pre-event dinner before a concert at the nearby Kai Tak Stadium, La Baia adds a relaxed, Mediterranean option to the neighborhood’s dining scene.
