Mother Pearl has opened a two-story flagship in Lan Kwai Fong, expanding beyond its bubble tea roots into a full day-to-night destination. The new space, on D’Aguilar Street, introduces the brand’s first-ever mixology program alongside an expanded menu of grab-and-go bites, sugar-free vegan gelato, and functional beverages.
The ground floor serves daytime rituals: bubble teas, espresso drinks, smoothies, and a range of wellness-focused beverages like Bright Pressure (a berry-ginger blend), Clever Coca (with lion’s mane mushroom), and Green Grin (packed with spinach, avocado, and spirulina). A new selection of grab-and-go wraps includes the Chicken Power Wrap and Mushroom Harvest Wrap, plus mochi cookies and zero-refined-sugar gelato in flavors like Dark Matter, Velvet Cloud, Mountain Oolong, and Jasmine Bloom.
The first floor debuts the Crafted Bar, an intimate cocktail and mocktail space built for lingering. Highlights include Empress Wu (HK$286, or HK$333 with pearl powder) and The Price of Time (HK$499 with 5-year Chen Pi and Johnnie Walker Black Label; HK$1,999 with 25-year Chen Pi and Blue Label). Large-format serves like Fountain of Youth and Black Typhoon are available by the glass or tower, and can be made alcohol-free.
The menu also includes elevated bites: Mama’s nugget (HK$91), Smoke & Pearls (HK$191), a smoked tea egg with caviar, and Curious Burrata (HK$282).
