Summer in Full Bloom: Takashi Murakami’s Floral Fantasy Takes Over Pacific Place

This summer, Pacific Place transforms into a vibrant floral dreamscape with the Hong Kong debut of Takashi Murakami’s Ohana Hatake pop-up, Field of Flowers.

Running from July 31 to August 13, the immersive installation merges art, fashion, and pop culture, inviting visitors to step into Murakami’s iconic superflat universe.

As the Official Mall Partner of ComplexCon Hong Kong 2025, Pacific Place brings Murakami’s playful aesthetic to life with a breathtaking large-scale cherry blossom installation at Garden Court (LG1) — a sculptural centerpiece making its global debut. The space blossoms into a surreal floral fantasy, complete with a mirror wall for the perfect Instagram-worthy moment.

The pop-up also introduces the world premiere of four exclusive colorways from Murakami’s coveted Ohana Full-Bloom and Surippa Ohana collections. The Ohana Full-Bloom slides dazzle in eight hues, including two new summer-ready shades—Buttercup and Lime Zest—each adorned with 3D floral embellishments.

Meanwhile, the Surippa Ohana line features Sakura, Cherry Blossom, and newly launched colors Deep Forest, and Sweet Grape — blending wearable art with Murakami’s signature whimsy.
