If your summer plan is just “find a pool and stay there,” W Macau – Studio City has a more ambitious itinerary in mind. The Cotai hotel has rolled out Sun Chasers, a season-long program running June 8 through August 31 that stretches across its spa, gym, and bar — the idea being to ease you from lazy sunlit afternoons into livelier nights.
A spa reset (with pool access)
AWAY Spa has built two packages around the season. The Buff & Balance (MOP 1,380++ per person) pairs a 30-minute scrub or wrap with a 60-minute restorative massage, and throws in a MOP 100 retail credit plus a one-day WET pool pass. If you’d rather make a night of it, Body & Suite (from MOP 1,830++) bundles a one-night stay in a Fantastic Suite with a 60-minute detox massage and a personal training session.
Staying over? Every evening at 6pm through August 31, there’s a 10-minute Crystal Bowl Welcome Ritual — a short sound bath to reset before dinner.
Free classes at the gym
The FIT gym is running complimentary classes led by the hotel’s trainers: Functional Workout and HIIT (twice weekly each), plus CrossFit and muscle-building sessions. Turn up 10 minutes early for a quick assessment and briefing before you jump in.
Cocktails with an edge
Over at the Living Room, senior mixologist Victor Pun — named a “Best-in-Class Bars Rising Star” for Macau in Tatler’s 2026 list — has built three drinks (MOP 128+ each) that don’t play it safe:
- Oriental Pearl — a Margarita rework with tequila, Cointreau and pickled green papaya. Crisp, with a wild streak.
- Purple & Tonic — lemongrass and purple pickle juice over tonic, for a fizzy, faintly tart blush.
- Star From The Root — gin, fingerroot and fermented chili over a savory tomato base, landing somewhere bittersweet.
